I’m Nikita Rana, a corporate emcee in mumbai, and hosting the 74th Foundation Day Celebration of Himachal Mitra Mandal reminded me how legacy organisations carry both emotion and discipline into every gathering. Recognised as India’s largest Himachali association, the evening in Mumbai brought together generations connected through culture, memory, and shared identity.

As a corporate host, my responsibility was to shape transitions that respected the sentiment of the audience while maintaining the rhythm of a large format celebration. The evening carried warmth, but also precision. Every announcement, felicitation, and stage movement had to feel seamless because audiences notice calm leadership before they notice production value.

One of the defining moments was the award presentation by Hon. Sudhir Sharma, Member of the Legislative Assembly, Himachal Pradesh.
