I’m Nikita Rana, a corporate emcee in mumbai, and this reflection follows MDRT Day India, a large scale leadership conference where calm is not optional, it is structural. The event took place in Mumbai, with senior financial leaders in the room and live content unfolding without retakes. As a corporate host, my role extended beyond transitions, it was about creating stability when complexity peaked.

From the perspective of those on stage, pulling off a thousand person conference is about choreography, restraint, and genuine respect for the audience. The backend is often under pressure with last minute changes, shifting sequences, and live decisions. In those moments, anchoring corporate event environments requires one clear centre. As a corporate event host, I focus on being that steady point so the experience feels effortless to everyone watching.

This perspective was featured by BW Businessworld, India’s leading business magazine, following a conversation with

Shri. Annurag Batra: Chairman & Editor in Chief - BW Businessworld

Ruhail Amin sir: Senior Editor - BW Businessworld & Exchange4media

Ms. Mahek Asghar: Editor & Writer, BW Businessworld.

We spoke about the role of a corporate emcee as connective tissue between brand intent and human experience. When presence is steady and listening is active, scale stops feeling like work and begins to feel shared.

My sincere thanks to the leadership and organising teams who enabled MDRT Day India 2025.

Gratitude to Mr. Rajiv Jain: Zone Chair MCC, MDRT

If you are looking to hire anchor for event formats where scale demands calm authority, this is the approach I bring as a corporate mc.
